About the Course
This two-day course introducing the fundamentals of optical fiber and
fiber-optic devices is intended to demystify this technology for
non-technical as well as technical individuals. Attendees will gain an
understanding of the essential concepts and terminology of fiber optic
technology including: how it works, how it's manufactured, key players,
combining photonic devices to make larger systems, and the practical
limitations.
